Update

Well I don't have any fun pictures to add this time which I was hoping to have before I did another post. Oh well if you are reading, you will just have to read.

Updates:

Babies room got painted an awesome light green. We love it. We do have pictures of that but of course they are not uploaded. We will be setting the room up starting next weekend (after our carpets get shampooed next Friday). Grandpa Bill is supposed to come help Matt set up crib and fix the cradle that goes in our room. Then the organizing can begin, I am very anxious to get started on this. I not only have to arrange all the baby stuff but also all of my closets and part of my garage.

I am doing very well. Starting to have some uncomfortable moments, like trying to go for a semi-longer dog walk when baby decides to hang out super low. Or sitting through a 1.75 hour long staff meeting a room that is way too hot and boy are its kicks getting stronger (which it just had to remind me of). Baby should weight around 3 pounds now. At our last appointment 2 weeks ago babies head was already resting on my pelvic bone so it has already "dropped" and is ready to go. Although it still moves around alot it mostly spends its time hanging out in the correct position. We were told our baby "read the textbook" on what it is supposed to do. Good smart baby already, yippy! I am just super thankful to have a wonderful pregnancy thus far. BTW I will be 31 weeks this Saturday, so 9 weeks (or roughly 2 months) to go.

We are having out first baby shower this weekend with our friends and family down here. It will be an unconventional co-ed potluck style barbeque. I am super excited to see everyone who is coming. It should be a fun day. Our friend Gael has been planning it along with help from another friend Chauncey. We already feel so blessed by the family and friends we have and the support we have gotten so far and cant wait for this baby to meet all the amazing people in our lives. Little nervous about rain, we have had so many nice weekends in April, but this inst supposed to be one of those. However it is not supposed to rain all day so I am hoping it only does so in the morning. I am not sure about everyone fitting into our house :)

Next weekend we start our birth classes, we have two Saturdays of class. I am really looking forward to this also as I have plenty to learn still and plenty of preparing myself for what is to come.

Nursery

The nursery is not set up yet so there are no actual pictures of it. However I have accumulated pictures of the things that are going to go into it so I thought I would put them all together on here for people to see. We plan to paint the nursery this weekend or next. It will be a light shade of green. Then we will put the nursery together after our baby shower on April 28th. We are having our carpets shampooed after the shower so I dont want to put it together sooner.  Here is what we have.

Test

This is just a test because I have never done this before.
The idea is for me to post more updates about my pregnancy and baby, once it gets here. I don't like putting it all on Facebook because there are too many people on there and I don't feel totally safe posting some stuff on there.
Recommendations welcome as I have never done this before. Let me know if there is anything I can change to make it easier for you all to view.
I will post something good later this week, about the nursery plans or something. :)
